Cherished Life was originally founded in 2005 by Dr. Marcotte in an effort to rescue pregnant dogs and cats and prevent their babies from being aborted. It soon blossomed into a rescue organization for any animals in need - including the rehabilitation of orphaned and injured wildlife.
