  • 28 cats = transferred in
  • 8 cats = relinquished by owners (plus 2 that were brought in for euthanasia)
  • 44 cats = strays
  • 10 dogs = transferred in
  • 3 dogs = surrendered by owner
  • 1 dog = stray
Outcomes
  • 6 dogs and 39 cats were adopted!
  • 1 cat was returned to their owner
  • 6 dogs and 17 cats were transferred to another rescue
  • 1 feral kitty was returned to the field (TNR)
  • 2 dogs were euthanized due to incurable, advanced disease
  • Sadly, we lost many cats and kittens (34 total) due to infectious disease this year. Of the 34 that we lost, I am grateful to say that I (Dr. Mary) was able to euthanize 29 of them AS they were dying, and therefore prevented what would have been a very painful death.
